I believe that we’re all unique and that there isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ approach to therapy. Instead, my focus is on trying to understand and experience what it’s like to be you – what you may be struggling with, what questions you have, where you’re at, so that I am able to support you and work through whatever may be worrying you.
Therapy isn’t about fixing, but understanding what issues or experiences are causing you to struggle.
I have supported clients (18+) from a range of diverse backgrounds, with different needs and issues, whether they’ve been dealing with loss, suicidal ideation, issues around gender and sexual identity, body positivity resilience, anxiety, family relationships or just struggling with life’s ups and downs.
What I try to offer is compassion, warmth, empathy, openness and honesty to my clients. I believe therapy can help empower you to find meaning and purpose, to understand and make sense of who you are, or what you are going through, as well as learn how to accept yourself without judgement.
